Terms and Conditions for Exotic Pet Party Service

1. General Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the Exotic Pet Party services provided by Scaly Safari Co. ("Service," "We," or "Us"). By booking and using our services, you ("Client") agree to the terms stated herein. These terms are binding and designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants and animals involved.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1. **Booking Confirmation** – A deposit of 50% is required to secure a booking. No reservation is confirmed until the deposit is received.

2.2. **Full Payment** – Full payment must be completed 7 days before the event date. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the event.

2.3. **Cancellations** – If the Client cancels the booking within 7 days of the event, the deposit is non-refundable. Rescheduling is allowed once, depending on availability.

3. Health and Safety Guidelines

3.1. **Animal Care** – All animals brought to events are under the care of experienced handlers and are safe for interaction under the conditions specified. However, the Client acknowledges the inherent risks involved with handling live animals.

3.2. **Allergies and Sensitivities** – It is the Client's responsibility to inform Scaly Safari Co. of any guest allergies or sensitivities related to animals. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such conditions.

3.3. **Supervision** – All children must be supervised by an adult during the event. We reserve the right to stop activities if safety guidelines are not followed.

4. Liability Waiver

4.1. **Assumption of Risk** – By engaging our services, the Client agrees that Scaly Safari Co. is not liable for any injuries, allergies, or accidents that occur during the event.

4.2. **Animal Behavior** – Although our animals are accustomed to human interaction, they are still animals and can behave unpredictably. The Client assumes full responsibility for the safety of all attendees.

4.3. **Client Responsibility** – The Client agrees to ensure that all guests follow the instructions provided by the animal handlers. The Client may be held responsible for any harm caused to the animals as a result of negligence or mistreatment.

5. Animal Welfare

5.1. **No Harassment** – Attendees are required to treat all animals with respect. Any harassment, mistreatment, or mishandling of the animals may result in the immediate termination of the event with no refund.

5.2. **Animal Handling** – Only our experienced staff are allowed to handle the animals unless otherwise instructed. Attendees must follow all guidelines regarding safe interaction.

6. Event Environment

6.1. **Event Space** – The Client agrees to provide a safe and suitable environment for the event, including sufficient space for the animals and handlers, appropriate temperatures, hot running water, and quiet surroundings to minimize stress on the animals.

6.2. **Weather Conditions** – If an outdoor event is planned, it is the Client's responsibility to provide a backup indoor location in the event of unsuitable weather.

6.3. **Venue Permissions** – If the event is at a third-party venue, the Client must obtain all necessary permissions and approvals for bringing exotic animals to the site.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling by Scaly Safari Co.

7.1. **Force Majeure** – In the event of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, illness of the animals or handlers, or other unforeseen emergencies, Scaly Safari Co. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event. In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be provided.

7.2. **Animal Welfare** – If at any point we determine that the environment is not safe for the animals (e.g., excessive noise, heat, etc.), we reserve the right to remove the animals or terminate the event without refund.

8. Photography and Media Release

8.1. **Photography** – The Client is allowed to take photos and videos of the animals during the event, provided that the animals are not startled or disrupted.

8.2. **Media Use** – Scaly Safari Co. may take photos or videos during the event for promotional purposes. By agreeing to these terms, the Client consents to the use of these materials. If the Client wishes to opt out, they must inform us in writing prior to the event.

9. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Scaly Safari Co., its employees, contractors, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the event, including any injuries to attendees or damage to property caused by the Client or their guests.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denbighshire County, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Amendments

Scaly Safari Co. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The Client will be notified of any changes prior to their event.

By booking with Scaly Safari Co., the Client agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
